  • Welcome to Awesome Assam. Meet and be assisted by our representative at the airport/Railway Station. Proceed to Shillong, also called 'Scotland of the East". Reach the majestic Umiam Lake (Barapani). You may do the water sports here (Optional). On arrival at Shillong, check in at your hotel. Overnight stay in Shillong.
 

  • Morning after breakfast  depart for a whole day excursion to Mawlynnong Mawlynnong Village has earned the distinction of being the cleanest village in India. It is situated 90 kms from Shillong
  • Dawki :Dawki lies 2 Kms from Bangladesh. Dawki is a small village and its main attraction is the Umngot River that marks the natural separation between the Khasi and the Jaintia Hills.

After breakfast, drive to Cherrapunjee (4,400 ft.), the wettest place in the world. On the way enjoy the following places:

Back to Shillong and Overnight stay at Shillong 

  • After breakfast, driver & transfer to Kaziranga National Park, the home of “One Horned Rhinoceros”, Check in at your hotel. Evening is free for leisure. Overnight stay at Kaziranga.
 

  • Early morning, explore Western Zone of Kaziranga National Park on the back of an elephant. Apart from world's endangered One-horned Rhinoceros, the Park sustains half the world's population of genetically pure Wild Water Buffaloes, over 1000 Wild elephants and perhaps the densest population of Royal Bengal Tigers anywhere. Kaziranga is also a bird watcher's paradise and home to some 500 species of birds. The Crested Serpent Eagle, Pallas Fishing Eagle, Grey Headed Fishing Eagle, Swamp Partridge, Bar-headed goose, whistling Teal, Bengal Florican, Storks, Herons and Pelicans are some of the species found here.We will return to the resort for breakfast. Afternoon go for a jeep safari through the Central Zone of the National Park.
  • Evening come back to the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.

  • After an early breakfast, drive to Dirang. On the way, visit Tipi Orchidarium situated on the banks of the river Bharali, a place of over 500 orchids, on display there are some rare species of orchid. Arunachal has the largest range of orchids in the country so take a break to visit Nag Temple. Continue your drive and do not forget to keep your cameras handy as you cross beautiful waterfalls and get some spectacular views. Dirang is also famous for hot water springs where people take baths to cure skin ailments.  Visit the DirangDzong and a Monpa village check into the hotel. 
  • Overnight stay at Dirang.
     

  • Early morning after breakfast drive to Tawang. Enroute witness the snow cappedSella Pass at 14000 ft and the JaswantGarh War Memorial. (Legend has it that Jaswant (Mahavir Chakra Awardee (Posthumous) of 4th Battalion Garhwal Rifles), fought a lone battle against the invading Chinese during the 1962 war. His spirit is still believed to protect the place) and before reaching Tawang visit the Nuranang falls. 
  • Overnight at Tawang.
     
 

  • After a breakfast day trip to SangestarTso which got famous asMadhuri Lake (12165 ft) after the Madhuri Dixit was shot during the shooting of Koyla movie  &Bumla La Pass (15,200 ft) It is often covered with heavy snow throughout the year. It is one of the most off-beat passes in the world, A special permit is required to visit the Bum La Pass. Permits are requested at the Office of the Deputy Commissioner in Tawang District, and they are in the Indian army cantonment at the Tawang town. Without the army stamp, visitors are not allowed through the numerous check posts along the way.

  • Early morning after breakfast transfer to Bomdila (8,200 ft.) - the headquarter of West Kameng District of Arunachal Pradesh and also known for its Buddhist monasteries. It has a lot of attractions for the visitors for its cool climate. On arrival check in to the hotel. Later visit GontseRabgyaling Monastery (Upper Gonpa), Thub-ChogGatsel Ling Monastery (Lower Gonpa).Bomdila offers a wonderfully panoramic view of Himalayan landscapes and snow clad ranges. Evening you can visit the local market. 
  • Overnight stay at Bomdila.
     
 

  • Early morning after breakfast drive to Guwahati. Check in Hotel. Evening enjoy sunset River cruise over the river Brahmaputra if time permits.  (Cruise is subject to weather conditions & availability,  PAYMENT WILL BE DIRECTED). 
 

  • Early morning after breakfast visit Kamakhya Temple. Afternoon transfer to Guwahati airport / Rly station.

  • Partial Refund Policy: Cancellation made between 15 to 29 days before the tour start date will receive a 50% refund.
  • Partial Refund Policy: Cancellation made between 08 to 14 days before the tour start date will receive a 25% refund.
  • No Refund Policy: Cancellation made within 14 days of the tour start date will not be eligible for a refund.
